MUST TRY CHOCOLATE COCKTAILS

Forget the eggs this Easter, get hopped up on chocolate cocktails instead.

Easter is about chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. So why not liven things up a bit and add some alcohol into the mix?  For  adult chocolate lovers keen to get their cocoa fix, here are some chocolate cocktail recipes that should do the trick.

1. Baileys chocolate Martini

Ingredients

Two shots Bailey’s Irish cream

One quarter shot vodka

One half shot chocolate liqueur

Sprinkle of cocoa powder

Instructions

Mix Bailey’s, vodka and liqueur in a martini shaker with several ice cubes.

Shake and strain into a chilled martini glass.

Garnish with cocoa

2.) Easy After Eight Cocktail

Ingredients

1 shot of peppermint schnapps

3 shots chocolate milk

ice cubes or crushed ice

Instructions

Mix the peppermint schnapps and chocolate milk in a cocktail shaker with several ice cubes or crushed ice.

Shake and strain into a chilled tall glass

Garnish with cocoa if desired

3.)   White chocolatini

Ingredients

1 shot of vanilla vodka

1 shot white chocolate liqueur

2 shots of cream

White chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

Pour the vodka, liquer and cream into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake well and strain into a chilled Martini glass.

Garnish with white chocolate shavings.

4.) Bounty Cocktail

Ingredients

1 shot Malibu or coconut rum

1 tbs golden syrup/honey

3 shots of chocolate milk

 Instructions

Pour the malibu, golden syrup/honey and chocolate milk into a cocktail shaker

Shake well and pour into a Martini glass

5. Creme Egg Mojito  (Recipe from LNL)

Ingredients

25ml Bacardi Superior

25ml Mozart chocolate liqueur

Sprig of mint

25ml sugar syrup

Dash of lime juice

Dash of soda

2 creme eggs

Instructions

Just bruise the mint sprig and put in the bottom of the glass with the rum and chocolate liqueur.

Then add the sugar syrup and lime juice to the mix, add some crushed ice and smashed up chocolate egg and give it all a stir.

Top with a little more crushed ice, dash of soda on top and serve with an oozey half of egg!”
